The folks at Image & Form are busy working on their next project following the successful release of Steamworld Dig on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. That project is Steamworld Heist and is set in the same universe, but instead of a platform exploration game, Steamworld Heist is a platform survival game where you recruit a team of rag-tag robots in order to scavenge the remains of a broken world. While the team has been rather tight-lipped on how recruiting and such will work, it’s nice to see what some of the robots will look like.
Currently there’s no release date in mind for Steamworld Heist, but if it follows in similarity to how recruiting works in games like Faster Than Light and X-COM, it seems like the Wii U could be getting a decent adventure survival game. What do you think of the first shot.
