Festival of Magic coming to Wii U

Festival-of-Magic

This is certainly the year of the indie for Nintendo, as SnowCastle Games is the latest developer to join the ranks of Wii U developers. The Norwegian team is currently at work on an RPG called Festival of Magic. The game has a very unique premise and promises to offer a mix of Harvest Moon and spell-casting to create an incredible adventure.

Puzzles and exploration are also supposed to be a big part of the game. The characters look a bit like anime-inspired Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, but I’ll hold my reservations for now. The celebratory tweet reads:

The developers go on to promise that the game won’t be just a port for Wii U owners in further tweets, stating they plan to make use of the unique features of the Wii U to make gamers feel at home on their system. You can check out the trailer for the game below and let us know what you think about it. Will you be picking it up when it’s released?
