Today during the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of America revealed that Duck Hunt will be joining the virtual console family soon. The Duck Hunt Dog was recently added to Super Smash Bros. and during the Direct we saw a trailer featuring the Dog chuckling as his bird companion flies in the background.
The original NES Duck Hunt is coming soon to Virtual Console on #WiiU. Better prime that Wii Remote trigger finger!

No release date was given for the release of Duck Hunt on the console, but expect it soon!
