The Disgaea series is a well-known strategy RPG series that offers hundreds of hours of gameplay and plenty of unique characters. NIS America is bringing the main entry, Disgaea 5, to Nintendo Switch on May 23 in North America and they’ve just released the first character trailer to give everyone an idea of what to expect.
Granted, this game originally released on PS4 back in 2015, but this version of the game is considered the complete edition, since all the DLC that was released for the PS4 version will be included in the base game. That means all 8 bonus scenarios 4 characters, and 3 character classes are included.
This game will certainly appeal to the Nintendo crowd that loves the Fire Emblem games, since it’s also a tactical strategy game. The battle system works a bit differently than what you’re used to, but you can still rack up combos and plenty of damage by playing your characters off of one another. If that and the relationships between the characters is important to you, then you’ll probably love Disgaea 5 Complete.
