The Wii U Miiverse is currently one of the most innovative ways gamers can communicate with one other on their chosen console. Groups for individual games let players discuss strategies, share tips and drawings, and talk about the game with those who are interested. User created groups are great for organizing your friends into game nights and browsing through the Miiverse has recently been improved by Nintendo’s new update. With all that said, what would you like to see next?

Mii avatars have been around since the Wii and while the Wii U added a few creation options to the process, not much else has been added. Nintendo could take a page out of Microsoft’s avatar book by giving people outfits, hats, and other accessories that can be rewards for finishing games. For example, players who finish ZombiU could be rewarded with the bearskin hat worn by palace guards.

Miiverse art is one of the best parts of the whole social network. Being able to share your creations with other gamers is a huge plus, but Nintendo could take it one step further by allowing you to share your drawings across Facebook and Twitter as well. This sharing would increase the exposure of Miiverse to those who don’t own a Wii U, allowing them to see what a great interactive community Nintendo has fostered with the console.

Of course one of the major talking points of the big PlayStation 4 announcement was how the console allows you to share in-game clips directly to YouTube and Facebook. It’s an interesting feature and one that could be achieved on the Wii U if Nintendo were to incorporate the Miiverse with games. Gamers could share in-game clips, hints, and tips directly to groups on the Miiverse.

These are just a few basic ideas that Nintendo could incorporate into the Miiverse to make it more interactive and something more gamers want to experience. Do you have any ideas for the Miiverse? Let us know in the comments below.
