Dell introduces Android phone for Chinese market (photos!)

Techcrunch already broke the news last week: Dell has developed a China-only smartphone. Here are the first pictures (I really want one)

Known affectionately as the Mini 3i, the new Dell phone only supports 2G, but it runs on China Mobile´s own infrastructure, the Open Mobile System. It teams up Google´s Android with TD-SCDMA (China’s 3G standard).

The new Dell smartphone sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen with 360×640 resolution (in comparison: Apple´s iPhone has 3.5-inch screen with only a 320×480 resolution, while Palm Pre has a 3.1-inch screen with 320×480 resolution), a 950mAh battery, Bluetooth, a 3.2MP camera, a mini USB port and a microSD card slot. Down sides: no physical keyboard and no Wifi.
