When the CR-48 Notebook first launched it was well received except for one fatal flaw – the trackpad. It was a glitchy pain in the butt that made using the first ever device built on Chrome OS a complete nightmare. Well… that problem has now been fixed with the Chrome OS 11 Beta.
It’s often stressed how the small things are the most important, but the trackpad is hardly a small thing – it’s the primary method for interacting with the device itself. After the update, the trackpad works flawlessly and what was once an irritating user experience suddenly becomes a joy to use.
