Chrome just got updated to version 27. There are no amazing new features and flashy experiences. In fact, most people won’t even notice a difference, but the update is really nice to have. It simple makes your browsing experience faster.

Chrome’s new stable release makes your browsing 5% faster. It may not seem like much, but Google is touting the time this 5% saves all Chrome users. All together, Chrome users will be saving an average of 510 years per week.

Individually, very few of us will be able to tell the difference, but it’s nice to see Google is moving. Especially considering Chrome is already among the fastest browsers. “Every second counts!”
