Chrome Becomes Most Popular Browser…for One Day

In the browser wars there are two very good competitors, and one giant leader. The leader is of course Internet Explorer, and the competitors are Chrome and Firefox. In recent times Chrome has surpassed Firefox to take over second place, but passing IE has eluded the team from Google. That is until last Sunday when Chrome found itself in first place, albeit only for a day. On Sunday Chrome took in 32.7% of all browsing compared to 32.5% from IE. This is due to people being at home and being able to choose whatever browser they want. On Monday when offices filled back up IE jumped to 35% and Chrome dropped to 30%. This may seem like a small victory, but it’s a very big milestone in Chrome’s growth.
