The highly successful and critically acclaimed action RPG The Witcher 3 is now running on the Switch through a third party app called Rainway, which allows players to stream their PC games to the Switch.
Rainway developer Andrew Sampson posted a video of the latest version of the app, which seems to run The Witcher 3 just fine on the Switch. There are some frame rate issues, but those things tend to get fixed as development moves on.
The app streams the game via WiFi, so you can be anywhere in your house and play your favorite PC games on the Switch. That’s the idea at least. We’ll have to wait and see how the final product works when the Rainway app is released. And so far there is no release date.
