Super Smash Bros for the Wii U is almost here. The recent Nintendo Direct revealed a bunch of news, including 8-player support and a new board game mode. We also got a new Amiibo trailer, and some other news as well. Overall, Nintendo is making sure we’re very excited for this game, which looks to be one of the biggest hits of 2014.
And if you’re wondering what the Super Smash Bros opening cinematic looks like, wonder no more. IGN has uploaded the game’s opening cinematic, which is comprised of some new footage, and some footage we’ve seen before in various trailers. It’s all put together nicely, showcasing all of the characters in the game.

Super Smash Bros Wii U launches on November 21st in North America, December 5th in Europe, and December 6th in Japan. There are several pre-order bonuses out there — last week Toys R Us offered a free Amiibo figure with the pre-order.
