Cancelled Wii U game Road Redemption coming to Switch

Road Redemption, the spiritual successor to the N64 title Road Rage, was announced for the Wii U back in 2013, but that game never panned out.

Now developer Pixel Dash studios will be releasing the game on the Switch and other platforms. Road Redemption is a combat racing game where players ride motorcycles and try to take each other out during the race.

The game will support online multiplayer, 4-player split-screen co-op, and lots and lots of “brutal weapons”. And it will feature Shovel Knight as a playable character.

Road Redemption was released on PC last year to a good reception, and will be released later this year on the Switch and other platforms.
