Is the new Bloodstained Kickstarter stretch goal a Wii U version?

Last week, we published a video on the site from one of our contributors that asked the question of whether Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night should be brought to Wii U. When the Kickstarter was originally announced only for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This led many Nintendo fans to be highly upset with the Kickstarter, as the Castlevania series got its start on Nintendo platforms.

As the Kickstarter has rolled on and gathered more funds, it now looks like the $3 million stretch goal may be a Wii U version. Currently the Kickstarter sits at just $2.5 million funded, but as that number rises closer to $3 million, you can see what looks like the top of the Wii U logo in the image. Here it is for reference:

We won’t know if the stretch goal is the Wii U version until more is revealed or the goal is met, but I think it’s safe to say that Nintendo fans should chip in if they want to see the next project from Castlevania’s Koji Igarashi on the Wii U.

What do you think? Will you be donating to the Kickstarter, or will you wait for it to cross the $3 million mark on its own to see what the stretch goal is?
