BioShock developer: no plans of developing for the Wii U

BioShock Wii U
When Nintendo showcased the Wii U at E3, they had a reel of a number of developers praising the new console, and one of the developers was Ken Levine, the man behind BioShock. This led many to speculate whether we’d see the upcoming BioShock Infinite on the Wii U.

However, now Ken Levine has come out and said that they have no plans of developing for the Wii U. Levine said in an interview with IGN:

“Just to be clear, there are no plans. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but we have no plans to do any games for that platform.”

In the interview, Lenvine did praise the Wii U for its tablet controller and technology, but overall, we can’t help but feel disappointed to hear him say that “there are no plans”. While many hoped to see the third installment in the BioShock franchise on the Wii U, things aren’t looking good after Levine’s comments.
