Big restock of rare amiibo should be coming soon

Nintendo has sold more than 10 million amiibo figures since launch last year, but many fans and collectors have lamented how hard certain figures are to find either due to popularity, or retailer exclusives that were scalped early on. If you’ve been looking for one of the early amiibo figures and not willing to pay scalper prices, you’re in luck.

CPSIA certification has shown up for several rare amiibo, meaning we could be seeing a wave of new stock for some of the most rare amiibo that have launched over the past year. Nintendo is required to register their products according to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which means these could show up as early as a few months from now. CPSIA registration for the following products has been discovered:

  • Modern Mario
  • Retro 3-Pack
  • Splatoon 3-Pack
  • Little Mac
  • Lucario
  • Captain Falcon
  • Villager
  • Ike
  • Marth

Did you miss picking up any of these figures the first time around? Lucario was exclusive to Toys R Us the first time around and there’s no telling whether that will remain true.
