Bayonetta 2 will release with two discs in North America

The recently opened Bayonetta website has been updated to showcase what the North American retail packaging will look like. Instead of releasing the game as a boxed-set of two games in two cases, similar to how the game was released in Japan, retail version of Bayonetta 2 will be in one case with two discs inside the case. Considering North America is a much larger population than just Japan, it’s understandable that Nintendo would want to save on packing costs for the region.

Remember that retail copies of Bayonetta 2 will come with Bayonetta already included in the box. However, online eShop purchases will be discounted by $10. Should you want to purchase the original Bayonetta to go along with Bayonetta 2, you can do so for an extra $10, which equals to the full $59.99 retail cost of the boxed set.

Bayonetta 2 releases on October 24th in North America. Will you be purchasing a retail or eShop copy of the game?
