Despite not releasing for a few more weeks, reviewers have already managed to get their hands on the upcoming title. Review scores are already in and based on the sum of 33 critic’s reviews, the game has a 91 average score. To put that in comparison to the original game, which released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010, the average between the two consoles is 89.
A few major publications have given the game a 100% score, including Destructoid, Joystiq, GameSpot, and Edge Magazine. Some of the more critical reviews of the title include Polygon, who gave the game a 75 due to its “over-the-top sexualization of a female character.” Either way, it looks like Bayonetta 2 is shaping up to be one of the best received titles on the Wii U in a very long time.
