The original Bayonetta was released on the Xbox 360 back in 2009, and will be included with the Wii U sequel. The original has been ported to the Wii U with full GamePad controls, but how does it compare visually to the original game?
A new video goes in depth with a comparison of the original Bayonetta on the Xbox 360 vs the Wii U. As the footage shows, it looks very similar. The Wii U version seems to have less contrast than the Xbox 360, which isn’t a surprise since the Xbox 360 natively added extra contrast to games.
However, the textures on the Xbox 360 version seem to be more detailed, where the Wii U version looks a bit washed out. Of course, this is the comparison between a 5 year old game — the new Bayonetta 2 certainly looks better than the original.
Check out the comparison video below. Bayonetta 2 will be released in the US and Europe on October 24, and will include the original Bayonetta as well.
