Game developers have gotten very good at dodging questions and giving political answers. Sometimes they’re even better than politicians themselves.
Case in point: Star Wars Battlefront 2 was announced a few days ago to great fanfare. And while the game is coming to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, there was (as expected) no mention of a Switch release.
When asked about a potential release on the Switch, Battlefront 2 director Mark Thompson simply answered “That’s a question for another day…”
Not “We’re looking into it”, or perhaps “we’ll see in the future”, or maybe “we can’t rule anything out” (like Blizzard tends to say).
So we’re calling it now: there’s a 0% chance that Star Wars Battlefront 2 comes to the Switch.
