Battle Chasers: Nightwar footage shows combat and exploration

Battle Chasers: Nightwar, a throwback game to the RPGs of yesterday was on display at E3 2017, and IGN got their hands on 9 minutes of footage from what looks like the Nintendo Switch version.

The gameplay footage gives us a look at the dungeon-crawling aspects of the game as well as the combat.

So far, things are looking good. Combat seems to flow rather well, with a bit of tension built up when you know you need to charge a move, but a certain amount of enemies will attack before you can strike. That said, enemies seem to move a little too fast on the map, making running away from them seemingly impossible. Hopefully that’s not the case, as fighting enemy after enemy could get annoying really fast.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar will be available on the Switch eShop and at retailers this fall on the Nintendo Switch.
