AVGN Adventures is coming to Wii U and 3DS

Yesterday developer FreakZone Games announced at the SGC that Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures will coming to Wii U “very soon” and 3DS soon afterwards. Influenced by retro games such as Mega Man and Castlevania, the game stars none other that YouTube’s own Angry Video Game Nerd as he has been sucked into one of the bad games he was trying to review.

The game is a  fast paced 2D action tribute to the brutally hard games of yore, and is thus, very difficult; or as the developer puts it “rewarding.” There are several playable characters and secrets to discover within the game. If you’re a fan of old school video games, you’ll enjoy this game.

No specific release date has been announced as of yet, although the game has already been released on Steam.
