Ubisoft has announced a deal with comic book publisher Marvel to release a game based on The Avengers. The game will be called “Avengers: Battle For Earth”, and it will be coming to the Wii U and other consoles. According to Ubisoft, the game will feature over 20 playable characters, from Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and others.
French publisher Ubisoft is showing great support for the Wii U: the company is already bringing Rayman Legends, Ghost Recon online, and Assassin’s Creed 3 to the new console, and a Wii U exclusive title called Killer Freaks From Outer Space. Ubisoft previously mentioned in interviews that they have big plans for the Wii U, with several unannounced titles in development for the new console.
As for Avengers Battle For Earth on the Wii U: it will be released this Fall, according to a press release from Ubisoft.
