Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 and Persona 4 director Katsura Hashino has stated that despite the bankruptcy status of Index Corporation, Atlus’ parent company, the publisher’s current titles are still “under zealous development.” Hashino made the announcement via a blog post in which he apologized to fans for the recent occurances and reassured them that the financial status of Index Corporation was not slowing down the publisher.
“I’m sorry for the concerns caused by the recent circumstances, and I apologize. Next year is set to bring many announcements as part of the 25th anniversary of the Atlus brand, but there are a few things I’d like to share before that: all the unannounced titles we are working on are ‘under zealous development’.”
The unannounced titles aspect of Hashino’s post is sure to bring about plenty of speculation.
