Art Academy for Wii U may not be coming until 2015

Art-Academy-announced-for-Nintendo-Wii-U

Art Academy has been scheduled to arrive on Wii U for some time now, but there have been rumors that the comprehensive art app will be pushed back to 2015. The original trailer for the game released at E3 showed that the app should have arrived on the system by October. Now will October having passed, people have began to wonder when Nintendo plans to release the game.

A few members of the NeoGAF forums discovered that the date listed for Art Academy on Nintendo’s official site is now no longer October, instead it says 2015 on both Nintendo of America and Nintendo UK’s sites for the app. This is significantly later than previously planned. Of course, Nintendo has not announced the delay officially and a recent Nintendo Direct mentioned nothing of the app.

Art Academy is a all-in-one drawing app designed to teach you how to draw using various methods and tools, including comprehensive lessons that will benefit amateurs and professionals alike. If you still want to draw without the lessons, Art Academy: Sketchpad has been available on the Wii U eShop since 2013.
