Shoot ’em ups are a rare breed these days, but if you’re a fan of the genre I’ve got good news for you. Developer aPori Digital has announced that their shmup Aperion Cyberstorm will be heading to Wii U this spring. The twin-stick shooter features several different modes, including a Campaign to let you go at your enemies alone, or Challenge and Versus modes to prove your superiority among your friends.
Of course, no twin-stick shooter is complete without tons of ways to customize your bullet speed, pattern, and the way your ship handles, so there are many different upgrades you can collect that change the way your ship performs. No solid release date is set for the game yet, but expect it sometime this spring on the Wii U eShop.
