As we get closer to E3, developers are crawling out of the woodwork to tease us with their upcoming creations. According to Eiji Aonuma, the producer for the Legend of Zelda series, the next Legend of Zelda entry on the Wii U will feature several unexpected elements. No specific information was disclosed about the title, but according to EDGE magazine, you should be on your toes for what’s coming:

“The new game (A Link To The Past 2) will play very differently to the original. I think the new additions will make players see the game in a different way. And, of course, we’ll introduce even more unexpected elements in the Zelda game that we’re making for Wii U.”

Since the anticipated release date for The Legend of Zelda Wii U is around 2015, we don’t expect to see anything beyond a teaser tech demo, if that at this year’s E3. The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD remake will likely take the spotlight for fans of Zelda games, but this teaser is certainly something to think about over the coming months.
