Nintendo has had a bit of a supply problem with some of the peripherals released with Super Smash Bros. and that problem continues even today, despite the West Coast port strike being lifted earlier this year. If you’ve had trouble getting your hands on the official GameCube adapter from Nintendo, you might be happy to know that Amazon currently has a big sale on a well-reviewed third-party adapter that will perform just as well.

It’s available for $14.99, which is $5 less than the price of the official accessory that no one but GameStop seems to have. If you’re not keen on plopping down $50 to 60 in a GameStop bundle in order to get an official adapter, this may be the accessory for you.
