A look at various Nintendo games that failed to take off

Like any company that innovates, Nintendo has failed a bunch of times at bringing various games to life. Which is what happens and what sohuld happen: you’re supposed to try new things, sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.

A new video from Did You Know Gaming looks into some of the Nintendo projects that failed to take off, or projects that were unsuccessfully pitched to Nintendo.

The most fascinating story is how a couple of guys founded a company to pitch Nintendo to port Super Mario to the PC. When Nintendo declined, the guys went on to create Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, and many other groundbreaking games. The name of the company? ID Software.
