Nintendo has announced a new Switch bundle for the US market: a Splatoon 2 Switch bundle which will be exclusive to Walmart for now.
The bundle launches on September 8 and will retail for $379. That’s $79 more than the regular, plain Switch console, and it includes a copy of Splatoon 2 (digital download), a carry case, and Neon Green / Pink Joy-Con controllers.
Which means you’re not really saving any money on the bundle: the Switch is $299, the game is $59, and you can get all sorts of carry cases for under 10 bucks.
The Splatoon 2 bundle launched in Japan last month, where it was immensely popular and sold out immediately. Considering the general Switch shortages in the US, we’re sure the bundle will sell out here as well.
