Zelda has the longest E3 line ever

As we know, Zelda Breath of the Wild is by far the most popular game at E3 2016. Not just by press coverage and social media mentions, but by the massive horde of people who are willing to wait hours and hours in line just to play it for a few minutes.

The line to play the demo of Breath of the Wild yesterday stretched around the entire Nintendo booth at E3, and then into the hallway — some people waited over 8 hours in line to play the game.

After the line reached this epic proportion, Nintendo had to close it because it would be just mean to make someone wait more than 8 hours.

It’s pretty safe to say that this is the longest line in history at E3. The previous record went to Nintendo back in 2005 when the Wii was unveiled — people waited hours in line to try the new console.
