Nintendo has just launched a teaser mini-site for Yoshi’s New Island, which contains information about the game, screenshots, and a new video featuring gameplay. Yoshi’s New Island is a sequel to the hit Super Nintendo game Yoshi’s Island, preserving its art style and puzzles featuring Yoshi carrying around a baby Mario. It’s odd to see the teaser website contains no mention of the recently leaked Yoshi’s New Island 3DS XL bundle, which you can see in the image above.
It’s likely a Nintendo Direct that will occur either this month or at the beginning of March will announce the bundle. Since the game is releasing on March 14, 2014 here in North America, we probably only have a handful of days to wait before Nintendo announces a Nintendo Direct showcasing this game and others.
What do you think of the bundle? This is the first time Nintendo has offered an all-green Nintendo 3DS XL in the United States. The Year of Luigi 3DS XL came close, but ultimately it featured a green pattern on a white 3DS XL.
