Work on the next Zelda game has begun

Nintendo isn’t taking any time off after the success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, apparently.

According to Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma, who was in charge of Breath of the Wild and many other Zelda games, his team is already at work on the next game in the series.

The final Breath of the Wild DLC was released earlier this month, and now it seems certain that we won’t have any more big DLC for the game, as the team has moved on to the next title in the series.

Work on Breath of the Wild started right after Zelda: Skyward Sword was released in 2011. However, Breath of the Wild was delayed several times and ended up being released almost 18 months after it was originally scheduled for release.
