Nintendo is releasing a set of three amiibo for Splatoon on May 29, but if you’re not sure you want to pick them up alongside the game, this video should help. YouTuber GameXplain took several up close shots of the amiibo in order to show off some of the details we haven’t been able to see in the promotional materials.
You’ll notice both the girl and boy amiibo are standing in a puddle of their own ink and despite both having tanks on their backs, the “ink” inside of them doesn’t move and isn’t liquid in any way. Still, they’re pretty neat looking figures if you really dig the character design that Nintendo went with for this game.
