Wii U continues its sales slump in Japan, selling just 4,500 units last week in the country. The week before, the Wii U managed to sell almost 13,000 units.

Just a few months ago, Nintendo was selling tens of thousands of units during the Holiday shopping season.

On the software side, Wii U had just one game on the top 10 list: Pokken Tournament, which came in 5th, with 28,000 units sold. The next Wii U game on the list was Splatoon, which sold 9,000 units last week, good enough for a 15th spot.

On the plus side, Nintendo’s 3DS console is doing pretty well, but there’s no surprise there — the 3DS has always been doing pretty well.

Here are the full console sales rankings in Japan for last week.

  1. PlayStation 4 – 34,377
