Nintendo confirms Wii U still being sold at a loss

Things still aren’t looking great for Nintendo, despite Iwata optimistically hoping that the company can get back to “Nintendo-like” profits soon. While the company did post an overall profit, a representative for Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii U is still selling at a loss.

This means the price cut that many are desperately hoping for before the holiday season most likely won’t come unless it’s retail-inspired.
