With turkey season firmly behind us, we here at Wii U Daily are swiftly getting into the holiday spirit. What better way to celebrate that spirit than through gift-giving with our loyal readers! We know it can be hard to shop for gamers in the coming days, especially for the gamer that might have it all. But over the next several days, we’re going to be posting a gift idea for gamers each day, with a special opportunity to win prizes for yourself.
This is a pretty big promotion for Wii U Daily and one of the biggest we’ve done so far outside of the launch of the Wii U. The contest will continue until December 22 and each day you’ll have a chance to win something new. Here’s a few points about the giveaway to keep in mind:
- The contest will start today, December 2 and will extend through December 21st. We’ll have a new gift idea posted each day.
- Each post will be something we think would make a great gift to any gamer. Most of them will be Wii U related, but not all.
- At the bottom of each gift idea post, there will be a widget for entering the giveaway for that day.
- Each day is a new chance to win something. Don’t fret if you miss a day though, as each post will be open to entries until the 22nd.
- On December 22nd, we’ll host a live giveaway where we select the winners for each day and match them to their prize.
Prizes
Each of the 20 winners per day is guaranteed to win something. Some of our prizes are better than others, but most will receive either a copy of Super Smash Bros., a GameCube controller, or a random amiibo selected from our vault. We have so many we couldn’t fit them all in the picture! Additionally, we have a few tricks up our sleeve that you’ll just have to wait and see as a surprise that day.
Rules & Conditions
Every contest has terms and conditions. We hate it, but that’s the way the world works. To enter the contest you must be age 17 or older. The contest is open to participants to ALL REGIONS, which means you don’t just have to be in the United States in order to win. Prizes will be shipped out following the selection of winners on December 22, but with Christmas around the corner don’t expect to receive your gift on Santa’s schedule.
