Over the past many years, Nintendo’s own games have dominated the sales charts on the Wii U eShop. Maybe once in a while Minecraft would sneak into the top 10, but other than that, it was pretty much all Mario and Zelda on there.
And that was the case last week. However, we got a pleasant surprise: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero managed to get all the way to the 2nd spot on the chart, quite a feat for a small indie game.
It shouldn’t be that big of a surprise — Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is quite good, and has been praised by both fans and gamers alike.
The rest of the list is as expected: lots of Mario games, lots of Zelda games.
