That day is finally here! Nintendo is set to reveal its upcoming console the Nintendo Switch is just a few hours. We’re excited as can be here at Nintendo Today, since the company has managed to keep wraps on a lot of the details about the console for well over two years. Remember, it wasn’t until October of last year that we learned it was called the Switch!
So what are we expecting to see tonight? With pre-orders for the device starting tomorrow at Nintendo’s New York store, the device is expected to launch sometime in March. Nintendo will likely confirm the date and the price during this presentation, which some rumors have placed at around $250-$299.
As for what type of games we expect to see on the device, we already know The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is going to be one of the headline titles. There’s speculation that Ubisoft could have another exclusive in the works for the Switch, while another rumor suggests that Nintendo could reveal a Pokemon game for its new hybrid console.
Either way, we’re expecting to be impressed so grab a seat and get ready to see what Nintendo has been working on for the past five years!
