More trouble on the amiibo homefront, as some Walmart customers are reporting receiving emails to inform them that their gold Mario amiibo pre-order has been delayed. Some customers have been receiving a notification that their shipment will not occur until April 13, though the gold Mario amiibo is set to launch in stores on April 8. That puts some people getting their pre-order figure after the initial figures have already been available in store for nearly a week.

Notice in the email Walmart says it is not to blame for the delay and that its caused by the manufacturer, which would be Nintendo’s problem and whatever factories they’ve got set up for making amiibo. It’s disappointing to have to continually report bad news for amiibo fans, so hopefully Nintendo does something about their supply issues.
