Over the past few days there has been some speculation that Walmart will hold the exclusivity for the Modern 8-bit Mario amiibo, as it is included in the Walmart-exclusive Super Mario Maker Wii U bundle we told you about last week. Originally it seemed as though the only way you would be able to get that amiibo is if you bought one of those bundles or imported a single amiibo from another region, but a Walmart employee posted a stock schematic that shows single Modern 8-bit Mario amiibo.
Now a Canadian Walmart flyer has confirmed that Modern 8-bit Mario and Dr. Mario both are exclusive to the retailer, while providing more hints that we’ll see a separate Modern 8-bit Mario on store shelves.
