Yesterday we reported how dataminers went through Splatoon 2’s files and discovered upcoming levels and content, and now they’ve done the same to Arms.
A peak into the files of Arms reveals a bunch of fighters that are listed but not released yet, each with a codename.
The game’s files reference 20 fighters, but only 11 have been released so far. Which means Nintendo has another 9 Arms fighters in the pipeline.
Here’s a list of the fighters listed. The ones in bold are the new, unreleased ones:

As the list shows, Nintendo has planned a lot of new content for Arms. We don’t know if they’ll be released in packs as DLC, or as individual fighters for free like they did with Max Brass shortly after the game was released.
