Unreal Engine 4 updated for Xbox One and PS4 support, no Wii U

Today the first major update to Unreal Engine 4 was announced by Epic Games, bringing support for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Aside from those two, support for Linux and Valve’s SteamOS, as well as tweaks for Android and iOS have been detailed as well. There was no support for Wii U announced for the update, which means any games in the future that use Unreal Engine 4 will probably be skipping the Wii U.

This is pretty big blow that will affect Wii U gamers in the future, since several large studios use Unreal Engine to power their games.
