Ubisoft: We have several games planned for the NX

Ubisoft announced earlier this year that they will bring Just Dance to the NX when it launches next year. That’s not exactly a hard-hitting mainstream hit that’ll attract a hardcore audience to the NX.

But don’t worry, because Ubisoft has other games planned for the NX as well, according to Ubisoft boss Alain Corre.

“We announced that we’re developing Just Dance for NX and we have other surprises that we will announce later” Corre said in an interview with GamesIndustry, adding “we also believe Nintendo has the power to reinvent the way families are playing”.

Ubisoft has been praised the NX in the past, with its CEO saying that “what they’ve seen so far is great“.

So far only a few games have been confirmed for the Nintendo NX: Just Dance, Sonic, and of course, Nintendo’s own Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Last week, rumors circulated that the NX would be a tablet-styled console with detachable controllers, and that it would be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra processor.

Ubisoft has several franchises that could attract a hardcore audience to the NX, including Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Watch Dogs, Far Cry, and many others.
