Last year one of the more successful Kickstarters for games was Cloudberry Kingdom, a procedurally generated platformer with a hardcore masochistic mode. Watch the above video to see what I mean. The game is designed to be punishing but fun and with help from Ubisoft, the game will make its way to Wii U this summer.
The above video is one of the original concept videos posted early last year so the art is definitely a bit old, but the general concept is there.
