Maximum Games have just uploaded a new trailer to showcase Troll and I, which is headed to Nintendo Switch soon. There’s no release date listed for the game, but it’s already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for $49.99. Amazon also has a pre-order page for the game up with a listed release date of December 29th, 2017. That’s likely a place holder so don’t put any stock in it.
The game appears to offer the ability to play couch co-op with a set of two characters that two different people can control, or a single person can control by switching between them. This isn’t something new, as we’ve seen this before in old games like Mahjin and the Secret Kingdom and the old buddy platformers of yore.
The premise seems to be that trolls were thought of as myths until recently, when you discover one and embark on an epic adventure with it. To bad it’s really, really creepy.
