While the Wii U has suffered from a poor marketing campaign, Nintendo has shown promise with their more recent efforts. Just this weekend, one consumer at NeoGAF beheld a rather generous Wii U and 3DS display at their local Toys R Us. And by rather generous, I mean unprecedented.
You might notice the huge ‘U’ logos propped in front of the Wii U demo stations – perhaps to emphasise that the Wii U is not a Wii. Additionally, the graphics at each display are very engaging and informative.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of an awesome marketing campaign; and, more than anything, hopefully it works.
