The Nintendo Switch was recently updated with a new firmware update, 5.0.0 which brought a bunch of smaller improvements and fixes.
But the new update also comes with some bad news: gamers are reporting that their third party Switch docks are bricking their Switch consoles after the latest update.
The docks reported to brick consoles include the popular Nyko third party dock, which users have had issues with in the past, but it now seems to be outright bricking consoles.
