So over the last week, we saw several leaks surrounding the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, including a few videos that showed off unannounced characters. One of the results of that was a member from NeoGAF making a fake Twitter account to announce a Nintendo Direct for this Friday. While that turned out to be fake, it looks like Nintendo is having a Nintendo 3DS Direct this Friday, for Japan only as of right now. Neither Nintendo of America nor Nintendo of Europe have announced they’ll be broadcasting an English language version.
The Direct will be going live at 8pm Japanese time, which is in the early morning for the United States (7am EST), and early afternoon (1pm) for Europe. Given that the Nintendo 3DS release of Super Smash Bros. is almost upon us, this Direct will most likely be discussing that game as well as a few others.
