We’ve known for a while now that Terraria is headed to the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, but we haven’t heard anything about a release date. The game just passed through the USK rating system though, which means we could be seeing an announcement very soon. If you’re unfamiliar with the USK, it’s the German equivalent to the ESRB, which is the software rating group in the United States.
The USK has similar ratings to the ESRB and both groups are aimed at keeping violent and mature games out of the hands of younger children. All games need to pass through the rating system in order to be sold, so it’s one of the final things that gets ticked off the list for developers.
If you’ve been waiting to explore massive worlds and build huge structures with your friends, we’re likely not far away from seeing a release date.
