Tantalus is the studio behind several high profile Wii U ports that Wii U owners have enjoyed over the past few years. Their first project was porting Mass Effect 3 for Electronic Arts during the launch period for the Wii U, followed by porting Deus Ex: Human Revolution for Square Enix in 2013. Both of those ports were done extremely well, so we’re interested in seeing what their next AAA port for the Wii U will be.
The information surfaced after one of the developers was discussing Wii U ports on a podcast. Here’s a quick transcription of what was said about the port:
We’re doing that. It hasn’t been announced, but it will be soon. And can I just further add to the mystique and say that it’s big. It’s the biggest thing we’ve ever done. And it’ll come out this year, and I hope it won’t disappoint.
